ABET DESIGNS

ABET is a nonprofit organization that accredits college and university programs in applied and natural sciences, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. They currently accredit more than 4,000 programs at over 800 institutions in 32 countries worldwide. With ABET accreditation, students, employers, and the society they serve can be confident that a program meets the quality standards that produce graduates prepared to enter a global workforce.

The ABET Symposium gathers hundreds of representatives from industry, academia, and government to discuss best practices in assessment and accreditation. Recent themes have tackled cybersecurity, the rise in abundance of data and how to ethically handle it, and using sustainable engineering to improve the world.

As the primary and sole in-house designer for ABET, I was responsible for the identity and branding of the Annual ABET Symposium from 2020 to 2022 (with involvement in the 2019 Symposium under Dan Losapio). There were specific themes for each Symposium that covered current trending topics and what’s going on in the world. Unfortunately, the 2021-22 Symposiums were cancelled due to COVID-19 but the designs were approved.

ABET SYMPOSIUM

In addition to my exhibition designs, I was responsible for all in-house marketing materials including Annual Reports, socials, website design/maintenance, presentations and internal event designs (such as the Annual ABET Awards). I can only showcase a few works per my agreement with ABET.
